investing in Results for the region

Founded in 1959 by and for the community, the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham is a permanent charitable endowment to drive positive change. We welcome partnerships with individuals, families and businesses who want to be part of improving the life of the Birmingham region. People can leverage their charitable gifts or guide their estate planning through the Community Foundation.

We focus all our work on a Results Framework, using strategies that we support in partnership with nonprofits across Greater Birmingham. Recent initiatives and collaborations include the Health Action PartnershipPrize2theFuture, Yes We Can! Birmingham, leading to the Birmingham Education Foundation, and tornado recovery.
