Kate Nielsen joins News panel on community issues
In a series of in-depth reports and previous panel discussions that began in 2011, The Birmingham News has looked into a variety of topics, from opportunity and trust, to race, unity, schools, UAB and community and corporate leadership. The Community Foundation has been part of those discussions, highlighting what we have learned as part of the Birmingham region for more than 50 years.
On Jan. 19, 2012, Community Foundation president Kate Nielsen joined other Birmingham metro leaders in a roundtable discussion about where our community goes from here. The discussion is open to participation through a a live chat from noon until 2 p.m.
