Community Builders

How to become a Community Builder
The Community Builders Legacy Society honors the generous and forward-thinking people who provide a future gift to establish or add to a grantmaking fund of the Community Foundation. Your membership in this Legacy Society is our way of acknowledging today your commitment to our shared future. See a full list of current members below and contact Erin Stephenson to learn more about how you can be included.
Benefits of membership
In addition to the knowledge that your legacy will be part of this community forever, as a Community Builder you also receive these special benefits:
- Access to our expert staff to help you fulfill your personal philanthropic goals.
- Unique lapel pin with our hands logo, signifying your role as a leader, always reaching out to make an impact in Greater Birmingham
- Invitations to special events honoring our Community Builders Legacy Society and connecting you to the work of the Community Foundation today.
- Recognition on published lists as a member of our Legacy Society. Anonymity is also available, either during your lifetime or beyond, as you wish.

Joining the Community Builders Legacy Society is simple. When you include the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham as a beneficiary of your estate or trust, notify us that you have done so by calling the Development and Donor Relations staff.
