Special events
2008 annual meeting

The annual meeting of the Community Foundation is set for 5 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008 at B&A Warehouse, across from the soon-to-be developed Railroad Park. Find out how your Community Foundation played a leadership role in launching three park projects in 2007.


2008 overview sessions

abstract_121609.jpg Nonprofit organizations in our five-county area can learn more about our competitive grant process and priorities. Sessions are held in the early winter and late summer leading up to March and September grant application deadlines each year.


Staying Connected

abstract_122891.jpg We invite our donor advisors and other funders to learn more about specific topics of interest through site visits and panel discussions, which we call Staying Connected.


National Philanthropy Day

We sponsor the annual Outstanding Professional Advisors Award as part of National Philanthropy Day, presented locally each November by the Alabama Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
