Advised Fund simple way to teach money values

Is a car a "want" or a "need"?

Nathan Dungan, founder of Share Save Spend and nationally known consultant on family philanthropy, shares his own family’s experience with using an Advised Fund to engage a family around philanthropy. This personal story is just part of the presentation he provided in October 2011 gatherings for families and for professional advisors, as pictured at right.

Quoted in Worth, the Wall Street Journal and other national publications, Dungan challenges professional advisors to rethink their current service model for multi-generational families, and shares practical ways to move from typical transactional planning into a mindset of approaching money as interaction. He also helps families and individuals find ways to start important conversations around money as a way to pass on charitable values to the next generation and find a comfortable balance for sharing, saving and spending.
